1-min song
In my earlier days, I used to make a lot of music. It was just something I did. Over time, the feeling slowly faded until it wasn’t there anymore… Years went by without me creating anything.
Then, this summer, on a very ordinary day, I sat at the piano and played six short notes.
They sounded new and somehow familiar at the same time, even though I had never played that sequence before.
I liked what I was hearing, and I found myself exploring it, playing those six notes over and over.
In that small moment, I decided to challenge myself to create and record a one-minute piece.
After not doing this for so long, I wanted to keep it simple. No expectations. No pressure for it to be “good.” Just making something and seeing where it would go. This time, I didn’t add any words. I just let it be instrumental.
I called it Beginnings. And honestly, that’s what it felt like. I’m really happy with how it turned out. If I had to describe it, I’d say the song has a soft, quiet, and reflective mood.
Written, recorded, and produced by me.
