Autumn Scarf

I love making and wearing scarves.

They are cozy, practical, and a simple way to add a pop of colour to everyday outfits.

One night, while scrolling through Pinterest (as one often does), I came across the Sophie Scarf by PetiteKnit and was inspired to design my own version.

I wanted something that wraps just once around my neck, so it could be worn as an indoor accessory and on those not-so-cold days.

I cast on five stitches and slowly built it up until the scarf was about 5 cm high. I kept knitting at that width for a while, then gradually decreased in the same way I’d increased at the start.

In the end, my autumn scarf is about 72 cm long.

After a few lovely people told me I should make these scarves available, I thought I’d give it a go. If you’d like a bespoke version for you or someone you know, just send me an e-mail💌
